They share the similarities that the Greeks and Romans do including slightly higher strength and speed than mortals as well as impulsive fighting reflexes which can be misinterpreted as ADD OR ADHD. While they can also be diagnosed with Dyslexia it is not due to being able to read ancient Greek or Latin but instead can fluently read Celtic or Gaelic of different descents. Instead of gaining a bead upon their camp necklace or another bar on their tattoo, Vea Demigods have a metal wrist guard upon either wrist, which has the emblem of their bloodline engraved into it and then any great achievements they do are also engraved upon it. So the more detail upon their wrist guard adds to the more heroic deeds they have done. Also, rather than having a cabin or barracks all the living spaces are together in one castle like building and separated into different segments knows as quarters and there is one for each bloodline which is decided upon depending on your godly parent. There is also a separate guest quarter for new arrivals upon camp and know demigod guests to stay within. Demigods will stay within these quarters for no longer than a week as every Sunday after a new demigod arrives they are taken into a special ceremony where their godly parent is called to appear before them and then they are welcomed by their respective bloodline and then live within their quarters. Also upon arriving at the camp they are tested with all manner of weapons as well as different medieval fighting styles including jousting as to help a schedule to be formed for them. Like Camp Half-Blood and Jupiter, Camp Zion has its own over seeing delegates, but in place of Chiron and Lupa, they have Sir Lancelot who deals with the training and strategical side of being a demigod whereas the Lady of the Lake helps them with their powers and to develop the godly side within them. Sir Lancelot was blessed by the gods not to age after his duty with King Arthur was fulfilled and the Lady of the Lake resided in the piece water stretch of Zion’s lake. They also head up the table of the Knights who are the equivalent of the Greeks head counsellors or the Roman's centurions. Each bloodline is represented by one Knight who is usually the oldest or an older member of the bloodline. Though a younger member can challenge them if they have the same or more achievements displayed upon their wrist guard and also have the backing of fifty percent or more of their bloodline. Each knight has a suit of armour and a shield with their bloodlines emblazoned upon it for battle. They are the ones who will vote upon important decisions that need to be made for the camp's sake and so have to be trusted and reliable members of the camp. If another knight believes that somebody is not worthy of the position, if they can gain the backing of four other knights they can raise the issue to the court where it will be voted upon. Sometimes, twice a week the camp will hold what are known as the hunting games, where different levels of monsters are released into the forest for the campers to hunt down. Lykos campers are the best at this game. Bloodlines work as a team and can either work alone or with other Bloodlines to captures monsters. The group that catches the highest level monster is the winner. Also once a year near the end of the summer camp season, a knight tournament is held which anyone may compete to win the honour of champions for their bloodline. Events include things such as archery competitions, sword matches and also matches with various other weapon classifications as well as both Aerial and grounded jousting. Though the Aeriel jousting event is nearly always won by a child of Fugae. The precious metal that Vea demigods use to kill monsters like Celestial Bronze or Imperial Gold is known as Elision Silver and is what all their weaponry and amour is made of from breast plates to swords, from shield to the tips of the lance and arrows. Like many metals it can seem heavy at first but once a demigod is used to wearing their amour they weight of it soon become nothing. This is also the material that their wrist guards are made out of. |
