The sound of metal being sliced at could be heard eminating from the training area. *CLING CLING CLING* As a sword finally pierced the thick armor as the girl holding the sword as she sighed. Walking over to a bench that was near a wall of the training area. Sitting back with a whetstone and started sharpening her blade as she leaned against the cold surface.
This camp, Was weird - So many people her age, Yet they were so different. Closing her eye's thinking back to her past how she lived.... The thing's she did was evil to say the least, And now they haunted her - She barely was even able to sleep anymore. She was constantly talked about behind her back more or less saying she was weird, odd, and just plain freaky.
She bit her lip as once again something she saw frightened her as her eye's quickly opened, finding herself panting and sweating... Biting her lip, She tried everything to find peace but it simply evaded her - Standing up quickly and shoving her sword deep into the wall with a powerful thrust. "Just leave me alone..." This camp, made her soft - Everyone in it was living the happiest days in their lives... Biting her lip as she looked at the sword.
Pulling out the sword with most of her strength as she looked at the rather ruined blade from doing such a stupid move. She didn't have a choice then to stay here - If she stayed home she would constantly be attacked...most likely killed And if her few friends DID get hurt because of her? She could never look at herself the same way.
She shook her head, Back to training. Placing the sword into her hilt and placing it on the bench as her ring turned into a full sized Katana. Running at quite a high speed as she slashed diagonal across each of her targets and each of them fell to shred's as the weapon turned back into a ring. Training over...

[atrb=width,400] Silence was and still is my friend Kai was bored. He had some free time and he didn’t know what to do. He didn’t know where Yumi or Alex or any of his siblings were. He sighed as he looked around to see if there was anyone in sight he could hang out with. Seeing no one in sight, the ginger-haired son of Mouggos walked around camp a bit. That’s when he realised what he could do. He saw an Asian girl training with a wooden dummy. As he got closer, he realised who it was. It was Emily Chang, a daughter of Sarentai. The nature of Emily's arrival was odd. It was rumoured that she had at least twenty-nine monsters before she could actually get into camp. She and her siblings were definitely not ones to be messed with. Then again, most of the demigods here weren’t to be messed with, except for the children of Paidi, who were healers.
He then had an idea. He ran back to his bloodline quarters, greeting Ichos, his pet mockingbird, as he went to grab his sai daggers. He could train with Emily, that’s if she didn’t chop up into little pieces before they could do any real training first. Ichos flew beside his master and friend as the gangly teen went back to the training area. Kai hoped Emily wouldn’t mind sparring with him. He walked a bit slower as he neared the training area once more. He waited on the sidelines while she finished her training. She was impressive. Ichos alighted to a nearby branch so he could the potential sparring match.
“Hey Emily, impressive stuff you did there! Hey, where is everyone? Can’t seem to find them.” Kai didn’t know Emily very well, admittedly, but he was hoping to change that.

She oddly missed the simpler life, Where all she had to worry about was gun toting idiot's. She hated killing anyone, and only did if it was really necessarily needed - Where she actually had a nice place and didn't have a care in the world - Of course that would be too good for her, No instead she had to fight an onslaught of monsters intent on killing her just because she was a demi-god. Every time her life took a few steps forward it was right back into the shutter - What type of life was this? Constantly being hunted down for sport, kicked from the real world - The god's did this on purpose, as if some sick amusing TV show. Her eye's narrowed at the thought as once more she got frustrated with everything - When she first got here it was different, it was amazing to not be under constant alert for a pending attack but now... The realization that she was doomed if she went out into the world, and cutting herself off from it. It was a lose-lose game, and she hated those.
She honestly wasn't paying any attention to fellow campers - Some came by often enough to talk to one another, others to watch the freaky girl train. So when one watched her for a little and ran off she thought nothing of it. Sitting down and relaxing until suddenly the guy she had seen ran off came back with weapon's. So he was going to train - At least some people trained still. She was about to head off until she actually heard him talking to her....
She turned and blinked slowly at him - Did he really just talk to her? Tilting her head awkwardly being taken aback by the fact he actually walked up to her and engaged in conversation. "...I....Guess...." She said awkwardly. "...I don't know, They are normally chatting in the dining area..." Why would he ask her such a weird question. After all, He would most likely know more people around here then she ever would - Most tended to avoid the scarred up girl.
She had been wearing a training tank top so her scars were quite apparent this time , it was rare that she was really outside of more slimming features but this was what she trained with. "You know my name, But Might I ask yours?" She said finally getting over the fact he was talking to her - She had a lot of trust issue's after all.

[atrb=width,400] Silence was and still is my friend “I'm Kai Starshine, son of Mouggos. I guess that makes me your uncle.” Kai noted the scars. He had heard how Emily had come to the camp. The children of Sarentai seemed to be especially tasty to monsters, which was a shame. He knew the children of Zion, Einai and Krisi were pretty powerful and therefore most likely to be tastier than most of the other Vea demigods but he also knew how hard a life certain children of the Gods had it rough. Poor Emily here seemed wary of him and just about everyone here at camp. Her body language was telling him that much. He had also seen her around camp so he knew what her body languge was like when she was around other campers, sometimes even her own siblings.
The ginger-haired camper went to a dummy and set up a fighting stance. He attacked the dummy ruthlessly, making the dummy look like a deformed toothpick. The children of Mouggos were adept fighters, with or without sai daggers but not as good as the children of Sarentai. He stood still and closed his eyes, listening to the sounds of the camps, increasing it. When he was satisfied, Kai came back to where Emily was and smiled at her. He supposed she needed friends and would need them at some point in the future. “So, what is it about people that makes you wary?” He looked to her after he had asked her. He knew about her wariness around other people and he wanted to help her become more comfortable around people.
Kai then squatted down and cleaned his sai daggers – rusty daggers were no good, even if he didn’t use them in battle that much.
