Clothing style: button up shirts with t-shirts. jeans. cargo pants. Since he's typically on the run he wears layered clothes that can be changed around quickly for the sake of escapes and clothes that let him fit in without calling much attention to himself. His favorite color is red, but he doesn't get to wear it much because it draws attention and doesn't work to wash in laundrymats.
Distinguishing features: he goes to a lot of effort to just blend in and not get noticed. With how much he fights it's kind of hard to hide his scars and scrapes and bruises but he manages. He has a scar on his jaw that's fresh enough that it's bright red, so he wears makeup over that. Also a big chunky silver ring that he wears on his left hand

Likes:

Strengths:

• has the gift of sight | can see monsters and stuff for what they are without the mist
  
• calm | he has his moments, everyone does. But for the most part he's a fairly even keel calm roll with the punches person

Weapons: Miniog. An enchanted spear that turns into a large crest ring of some ancient Welsh Family. Fin stumbled upon it in a pawn shop in Boston and shop lifted it since he had no money at the time. Miniog is a fairly long spear with a so far unbreakable wooden shaft and a iron tip that's about a hand and a half long. He's fairly proficient with a verity of knifes too. And his fists.
Fighting Style style: He's not really into flourish. He likes getting things done. Fin has never trained in a training setting what he knows he's learned by trial and error. He's got a distinctly street fighter style that's a combination of what he's learned from books about ancient Greece and Rome and from what he's watched on the streets. He mostly fights with Miniog, and so fights with a mixture of using it as a staff and using it as an offensive weapon. He can hold his own in just about any fight and is extremely smart when it comes to maneuvering and putting enemies where he wants them. He also has a strong control over the wind and can create blinding flashes of silvery light that have enough power to knock over human sized enemies and blind anything with eyes. Except him. His ability to use the wind makes it so that he can run fast and jump far
Overall:

Fin is a strong, determined, calm young man who can take care of himself. For an ADD ridden demigod he's fairly laid back and able to be calm for long periods of sitting (in the form of traveling, not school) Although that might be due to the fact that he spends the rest of his time fighting himself to exhaustion. He was an army brat for the first ha lf of his life and it's ingrained into him to be clean and groomed at all times and polite to just about everyone. He has a strong sense of right and wrong and hates bullies, having known too many in his life. He hates human monsters, such as child molesters, rapests, and wife beaters just as much as he hates mythological monsters and has been known to stab the occasional one, as he honestly doesn't see them as any better then a hellhound or dragon. But he's very civil to normal people and goes out of his way to help old ladies across the street and give up his seat for ladies with babies. He''s been watching out for himself for the last four and a half years and is very self sufficient.

Fin has a strong case of wanderlust and he's been pretty much everywhere in the northern hemisphere and plans on getting to Eurasia soon. He doesn't feel comfortable staying places for more then a week and as much as he sometimes hates sleeping in a different bed every night he would never change anything. He's an actor who always plans conversations out before he has them so he can keep whatever story he's using at the moment straight. He has a personality but he he tends to manipulate how he acts around different people in different cultures. His best friend, a human girl, was killed three and a half years ago and since then he's cut ties with everyone he knows and he's developed a fear, almost phobia, of getting close to people in a real way. He can fake it but when he actually starts to rely on people he gets scared and bolts again to start again. He doesn't really know anything about his father or any of the Vea gods or gods at all. He knows what he is and he knows who monsters are and that's as much as he figures he need to know for the moment.

History:

Andrea Tyson met and married David Greyson when they were in high school. As high school couples go they were extremely stable and no one was worried about them making it. And then Andrea got pregnant and David joined the army to pay for college. After Fin's older brother Nickolas was born Andrea's mother helped raise the baby a lot, leaving Andrea alone and missing David a lot. And then she met Zion, son of Zeus and prince of the gods. Andrea had always had the sight, which allowed her to see monsters and stuff but she'd never really thought much about it. Obviously there are monsters around, so it made sense to her. But as soon as she met Zion she realized that he was something different. Something more.

She's not the cheating army wife type but within a few days she found herself head over heals in love with Zion and then in bed with him. They both knew that she knew he wasn't a human but they never really talked about it openly beyond the ocasional comments that Zion made that confirmed her suspicions. Eventually she realized that she was pregnant and came to him, crying and saying she was going to abort the baby. He refused to allow her to and talked her into keeping the baby, telling her that the boy would be extremely powerful and it would be wrong to get rid of him. But Andrea was completely overcome with guilt and Zion ended up leaving. David came back from deployment a few months later and Andrea tearfully explained that she had had an affair and was pregnant and to him that he should hate her. But he didn't, because he was a good guy. And after a while he even managed to forgive her and when Fin Gerard, often called Gerry, was born several months later they all treated him like David's son.

David decided to become career military man and so Fin and his brother and younger sister, named Chloe, grew up as military brats, always moving around and changing lives. Fin was an obnoxious, ADD kid who was constantly bullied and causing weird wind-related accidents in his new schools. He adapted and decided that he didn't need anyone, a belief he still holds. When he was eight his family moved to New England to a military base there and there Fin met Sharon. She was another military brat and they were instantly best friends. For two years they didn't move and Fin spent every moment with Sharon and even almost liked his school and everything was good. And then his powers kicked in and he started attracting monsters. He'd inherited his mother's sight and was able to see them as soon as they started approaching him. And he was terrified but didn't tell anyone other then Sharon. And then one day as they were walking hope from school a dragon lady attacked them and before Fin could do anything Sharon was killed.

In the aftermath of the accident Fin cried for days and eventually explained to his mother what had happened. Andrea had to explain to him about Zion and how he was special and how the monsters would be coming after him. That night he ran away but was found and dragged back to his parents. (he still considers David his father) Over the next couple of years he withdrew from his family, started teaching himself how to fight from hanging around the military men, and continued trying to run away. when he was twelve he actually managed it and got to Boston. He found Minimog there and hung around teaching himself how to fight for a couple years before moving on. He's been moving ever sense, fighting monsters across the country and then around the continent, where he learned Spanish and Portuguese. He found camp Zion once, pretty much by accident, and was astounded to find that there were others like him. But he got antsy and bored at camp fairly quickly and left back for the road. He's currently in the area of camp again.
