Alex was finaly back at camp another summer of no being away fromAtlanta and the hassle of life in the city not tomention regular school. Alex walked down towards the forest. Silas would glad to see him, the wolf was nearly seven years old now and Alex worried every time when he left for the return to life that he wouldn't see Silas the next summer. The forest was a welcoming site. Alex looked around as he walked down the path through camp. Where was Kai and yumi had they not got their yet. Silas was sitting beneath a tree waiting. Alex let a smile creep onto his face. He took off running and skidded to a stop next to the wolf collapsing on the ground beside it. Alex hggd Silas's neck and recieved a welcoming lick on the face from him. Even though he was a mue Alex had found ways to communicte with nava through expressions.

Axel had been back at camp for a couple of days now seen as he dad's tour bus had just passed through. He knew his father always made sure they had a Kansas gig about the time Axel had to go back for the summer to camp. Though Axel would probably stay longer than most this time since his father's tour would be over by the end of august so in these time Axel choose to stay at camp and learn some more stuff while he could and it tended to be a lot easier for him to do so when their wasn't as many people around to distract or tease you for certain things. It wasn't his fault he hadn't gone to a normal school like most of them had. But then again he wasn't normal so why should he have to.
Sighing Axel grabbed a guitar and head into the forest for a bit off peaceful lyric genius time as his father would put it. The guitar wasn't his prefer instrument as that was the keyboard but it was easier to lug around camp with him as he could just sling the strap over his shoulder and be away. It wasn't long before he found himself with the shade of the tall tree and the fresh scent of the woods surrounding him. Axel got himself comfortable under the base of a tree not caring if his clothes got mucky and began to tune his guitar as it had been a while since he had used this particular one. Then he took out a pad with a pencil stuck in the binding and laid it next to him on the ground just in case he came up with some good song lyric's before he began strumming the strings of the guitar playing some random tune as if it was a song he had played a thousand times.

Alex heard a very familiar noise, a guitar it sounded very good. Alex stoodup and motioned for Silas to follow then tracked down the sound. He soon came upon a familiar looking boy. Don had seen him at camp for a few years he was one who like Alex kept to himself. Alex leaned against a tree and watched and listened for a bit before getting up the courage to speak. "You play well, sorry hope im not intruding i heard you from in the foret and decied to come see who it was." Alex said calmly, Sillas laid down beneath the tree and closed his eyes. "Im Alex Baker from the Muggos cabin." Alex wasn't much for interacting he preferred to keep to himself but finding someone else who did alos triggered something in him. In five years Alex had not gotten to know more than maybe 50 people at the camp.

As his fingers absent mindedly kept strumming out a tune upon the guitar's strings Axel's mind began to wonder. Right now his father would be asleep most likely from having travelled most of the night from his gig in Atlanta up to Washington where their next gig was scheduled to be. The last time Axel had been in Washington was three years ago on an old tour of his father’s when they was an opening act, just before they got back on their feet and began headlining their own tours. His father had taken him to the Jeffersonian Museum while they were there to show Axel all the stuff they had. He knew Axel was trying to learn things and so he tried to help him do it. And seen as Axel wasn't the most motivated self reader he thought that taking their might be a better option than buying him a history book to read on the tour bus.
It was a rather found memory he had of spend time with his father so a slight smile crept onto Axel's lips as he thought about it. He still even now still had the keying he had gotten from their emblazoned with the Jeffersonian's symbol upon it. Sighing Axel kept his fingers moving letting the notes tell their own story as they travelled softly though the forest air carrying through the tree's that surrounded him. Axel liked the forest here at camp. They was quite and secluded which meant it wasn't often you was disturbed and if it was it could usually be just one of the animals that lived in the camps forest. Though not many people did wonder the forest for fear of maybe encountering a monster they would hunt in the hunting games, but they only lived in a certain part of the forest which was fortified by the magic of the lady of the lake so they couldn't get out and hurt one at camp.
Though then he heard a voice from above him. Looking up at the boy who had joined him and brought a wolf too Axel remembered seeing his face from around the camp. Axel didn't know the boys name but would still thank him for the compliment of his guitar skills as he might not know he was a son of Rythmos the goddess of rhythm. Not everybody knew who everybody was or their godly parent and it was especially understandable when it came to Axel as he didn't really go around saying he was the son of what some might say a rock star or anything. He didn't really want to attention or that kind of attention anyway. "Thanks, I'm Axel... Axel Reed that is. Son of Rythmos, hence the guitar." Axel said gesturing to his instrument as he did so. "You Dad's the err... god of stealth right? I seen well actually heard your knight about quite a bit, she defiantly is a lively one." Axel added afterwards.

Alex nodded smiling. "She likes to sing and gets a bit excited when she does." Alex said Calmly with a chuckle. "Mind if i sit down and listen to you play i actually like the way guitars play acoustic being my favorite." Alex was trying harder this year to make friends becausehe was half tempted to remain at camp it was more comforting to him these days. "So what else do you like to do.?" Alex asked trying to be converstaional some.

Axel nodded at Alex's response to his mention of the Mouggos knight. If Axel recalled the girl was from China, or Japan or well something like that. She was a very colourful person, not only in personality but her clothes too. She was always wearing something bright enough to blind you. Though he guesses bright colours must be the fashion where she lived. Axel knew that all Mouggos children were born mute from his studies of the gods at the camp and so wander how different of a person she would be if she hadn't been granted the gift of speech and was left mute. He bet that she would have to do some pretty enthusiastic sign language to get across the excitement and energy that she displayed with her voice.
Alex asked if he could sit and listen to Axel play as he like the style of music that he was playing which he referred to as acoustic. This was something Axel had no problem with as since he had been touring with his father from a young age the being put on the spot even in front of large amounts of people wasn't terrifying to him. So one boy and his wolf listening to him play in the forest wasn't a problem at all. "Sure, take a seat. And I'm glad you like it as it similar style to what my father plays with his band." Axel told him as though Axel didn't talk a lot to others about his family he guessed Alex wouldn't suddenly start treating him differently because of who his father was. Yeh his father might not be up there with the A-listers but people still treated him differently when he mentioned it to others.
Though Axel did want to follow his father into the musical career and do his own tours he just wanted to enjoy being a normal kid. Well as normal as a demigod kid could be anyway. Alex asked him what else he liked to do which cause Axel to thing a little as he did quite a lot just sit playing an instrument of some sort. "Well I do write my own songs. You can have a look at some idea's I've had. I write them in this note book. There nothing special yet as theirs only a few complete. But it would be good to see what somebody else opinion is of them. Axel said picking up his note book and offering it to Alex.

Alex sat and let the wSilas lay his head across his lap. "This is silas he's around seven in human years, yet can still tree whatever he sets his mind to treeing." Alex sid chuckling, Axel's dad was in a band that was interesting. "You have seen a lot of concerts i bet. I couldn't do it i cant stand being around a let of people aroun medrives my mind crazy." Axel handed him the notebook. He understood enough about music especially guitar and voice synchronization to be able to read the songs. "These are good the synchronizing is perfect.I'm not much for playing music but i have goten real well at reading the music and words to a song and seeing how well they synch." Alex said calmly looking through more songs.

As Axel had a look though it notebook Axel fingers began to play a different tune. This was one of the few songs he had written which he had actually fully complete and so it had a title which was 'a lighter shade of me'. It was a slower more meaningful song that he had written which had a hidden beat to it which a trained ear would be able to pick out if they knew to listen for it. It wasn't a particularly happy song nor was it a sad one but it was a truthful song if anything. Which was a trait that was common among most of the songs he had written as he wasn't a fan of writing those cheesy songs that people would love at first but then come around to hate.
Though when Alex said that the songs had prefect synchronisation Axel couldn't help but let a small smile to his lips. It was something that if he was honest didn't find all that hard to achieve though that what you do get if you are a son of Rythmos the goddess of rhythm itself. "Thanks it good to know that I've picked up some of my mother talent." Axel replied as Alex continued to flick through this notebook. It was nice to hear somebody else opinion as it help keep Axel on the straight path or writing good meaningful music which is where he would like to stay as may the gods help him if he ever did slip into the cheesy music business. "So can you play any instruments or just a fan of music?"

Alex listened quietly to the music getting lost in the sound. Alex rocked back and forth to the music letting it fill his mind completely. "we get most of our natural skill from our parents it is said. I think its half our parents and half us." Alex said calmly. Silas opened his eyes and looked over at Axel he then got up and went and lay between the two boys. "He seems to like you." Alex said then scratched Silas behind the ears. "I know some guitar but its mostly heavy metal and rock."

As he continued the play the song he took note what Alex had to say to him about them getting half of their natural talents from there godly parents which would make sense since you was half their child and half your mortal parents. Though since his parents both had similar talents both being in the music business it seemed that Axl might just have gotten a double dose of some things. As he neared the end of the song his fingers began to move more slowly gently easing the notes to an end as he did so which is how the song finished. Slow and gentle was a nice way to end a song in Axl own opinion though he knew that it wasn't everybody’s cup of tea.
It was then that Alex's wolf got up from Alex's side and moved so that it now sat in between him and Alex. Against his arm Axl could feel the soft fur of the wolf's coat brush against his skin. When Alex commented saying that the wolf seemed to like him a small smile came upon his face. "Well I like him too." Axl said half directing his words to Alex and half to the wolf. Though when Alex answered Axl's previous question saying that he knew a bit of guitar Axl offer him his own guitar. "Care to show me your talent?" Axl asked him as he had a guitar and while heavy metal wasn't his favourite kind of music he wouldn't mind hearing somebody else play.

Alex looked at the guitar it had been a few months since he played, but he felt he knew one song all too well. Alex grabbed the guitar and set it in his arm. Alex began to strum and soon was playing the song So Far Away by avenged sevenfold. "This one is mostly for memorium but i also think its for lovers who havent found one another yet or have and are seperated." Alex said he was nearing the second chorus and in a low voice sang. "So tell me how do i live without the ones i love. time still turns the pages of the book its burned. place and time always on my mind. I have so much to say but your so far away." Alex looked up and smiled he was so calm around Axel and willing to play which he usually didn't do for just one person unless he knew them well.

When Alex took Axl guitar a small smile settle upon his lips as it would be nice to hear somebody else play who wasn't in his bloodline or his father's band. When you were as surrounded by music as Axl was it was nice to be able to hear something new played by somebody different. A little break in the barrage of music he was so used to hearing so he could listen to something different. Sure the music that Alex liked might not be something Axl would usually be found listening to but it was something different and that was something Axl wouldn't mind right now. The music that his bloodline played while it may sound very different to others in fact was similar to Axl as it was constructed in a similar was even if the outcomes where very different. And while Axl did love his father's music he heard enough of it while he went on tour with him outside of camp.
As Alex began to play Axl let his eyes stare off into space as he listened to the chords being played upon his guitar. It defiantly was different to what Axl had been playing though maybe he'd give a shot a writing some music similar one day. He himself probably wouldn't sing it as he didn't believe he had the right kind of voice for it but he could always sell it onto somebody who could. When Alex had finished Axl gave him his own personal little round of applause as he found it to be a good rendition of the song. "You got some good talent there. If you ever want to play with somebody don't be afraid to pop by the Rythmos quarter's as if I'm not there somebody will jam with you."
