Clothing style: Hades doesn’t seem change clothing much. His usual attire consists of black chiton and a kilt. While he seems to have two layers of clothing, his garments appear to show his muscular figure. When he’s in a warmer climate, such as Olympus or the mortal realm, he dons on a lighter material, but still black. He doesn’t like any other colour. To keep his feet warm, Hades wears a pair of grey sandals.
When in battle and public, Hades wears intricately designed, and beautifully-made gold-plated armour. He prefers to wear armour in public, makes him feel more powerful in some ways. His helmet is a sight to behold. It is pure black, and is so heavy that only a God could lift it, and to top it off, a black plume sits nicely on the helm. In his battle armour, Hades looks formidable.
Distinguishing features: A faded scar on his right shoulder and marble-white skin

Overall:
Hades for the most part, looks as he is perpetually bored. There are times when he will show emotion, anger mostly, sometimes affection with Persephone, sometimes sibling love-hate relationship but it is mostly anger. Hades is very quick to anger, one little word could make the very Earth shake, and if you are not careful, you may just find yourself a part of his skeleton army. The Lord of the Underworld is not very patient man, and you would do well to remember that little fact.
When around his siblings, Hades’ mood changes, depending on who he is interacting with. With Zeus and Poseidon, he has an intense, bitter, rivalry. Pre-Titan War, Hades was seen as an outsider and was never allowed onto Olympus. He remains suspicious of them. During the Titan War, Nico di’Angelo, his son, slightly changed his perception of his two brothers and he began to open up to them. Now though, it seems as though the budding brotherly love relationship is soon to be destroyed. With Demeter, Hades has an intense dislike for her, since she seems to do nothing but whine! Gods, he’d like to shove a sock down her mouth sometimes. It’s like she never quit whining. Hera is like the eldest younger sister, so he has a strained but almost brotherly relationship. Lastly, with Hestia, since she is the youngest sister, he treats as such. Gently, loving but firm and direct.
Hades reserves his deep, hidden emotions for his beloved Persephone. He loves her with all his iced-over heart. He has deeply regretted taking her from her mother but Hades knows that he loves her. his immortal children also hold his deep affections, he just wished he was able to spend more time with them. And Nico…well, he does love him but just doesn’t know how to show it.
HISTORY
Born: N/A
Homeland: N/A
History: Hades’ history is a complex, as is any other Olympian’s. Rhea birthed him, as she did with her other children. Like his siblings, Hades was swallowed whole when Kronos received a prophecy that one of his children would overthrow him. Hades grew from a newborn to a healthy adult inside Kronos’s stomach. Hades saw that he was different, by the way that he looked. Whereas the others had tanned or flesh-coloured skin, he had snow-coloured skin. This made him confused but it wasn’t long before Hades would have a new home. You see, fearful for her child Zeus, Rhea gave her husband a rock as a replacement for the baby Zeus. Kronos swallowed unknowingly. Hades and his siblings then saw a flash of blinding light and were dragged from his father stomach. He discovered that Zeus was alive and broken his siblings out.
Soon, Zeus, Poseidon and Hades were drawing up a map, so as to divide the world between themselves. Zeus got the heavens and Poseidon received the seas, but what did Hades receive I hear you ask? Poor Hades received the Underworld, otherwise known as Hell to the mortals. He was so upset that when he arrived in his realm, he immediately began plotting. Hades would meet countless demigods and mortals, who were either finish a task (Herakles) or get their loved one back (Orpheus). Hades is also known for the abduction and eventual marriage of Persephone, Demeter’s daughter. He tricked her while she picking flowers with her friends. Without her beloved daughter, Demeter grew depressed and cast curse on the land. Meanwhile, back in the Underworld, Hades gave Persephone six pomegranate seeds, thus forcing her to stay in the Underworld for six months (though some tales tell it differently). On her return, Demeter questioned her daughter. Since then, Persephone has had to switch back and forth between Olympus and the Underworld.
It would be a few years that Hades and Persephone would have two daughters, Macaria and Melinoe. They were presented to Zeus and given their titles and powers. Macaria would be the Goddess of the Blessed Isles within her father’s domain and Melinoe would be the Goddess of Ghosts and Propiations. Their relationship with their father was a strong, deep and private matter. He loved his daughters just as much as he loved his wife. The sisters would receive a brother prior to the medieval period, which would be called Krisi. He was a Vea God, something different to an Olympian and a Greek God. He would come to be known as the Prince of the Underworld and the God of Judgement. Additionally, he would also become one of the twelve major Vea Gods, their version of the Olympians.
One such tale tells the story of Hades’ wrath. You see, Theseus and Pirithous had promised to kidnap and marry daughters of Zeus. Theseus chose Helen and together they kidnapped her and decided to hold onto her until she was old enough to marry. They left her in the care of Theseus’s mother, Aethra. Pirithous, meanwhile, decided to be daring and go for Persephone. However, Hades knew of this plan. So he pretended to offer them hospitality and set a feast; as soon as the pair sat down, snakes coiled around their feet and held them there. Theseus was eventually rescued by Heracles but Pirithous remained trapped as punishment for daring to seek the wife of a god for his own. Other Gods, such as Poseidon and Zeus are known for their lustiness. Hades has demonstrated that same lustiness twice. One time he chased after a nymph Minthe and would have won her over if Persephone had not changed into the mint tree. Similarly, he chased after Leuce. Hades changed her into a poplar tree after her death.
Centuries later, Hades saw a golden opportunity: World War II. However, as we all know, Hades lost. This caused him to never be allowed back onto Olympus, save for council meetings. It would be another few centuries before the Lord of the Dead would fall in love with a mortal named Maria di’Angelo. She gave birth to a son and a daughter. Maria died at the hands of well-aimed thunderbolt (courtesy to Zeus). Nico and Bianca lived, but Bianca would later die when being attacked by a monster. After many centuries of holding a grudge against Zeus, Hades was convinced to aid his brothers and sisters in the Second Titan War by none other than his demigod son, Nico. After the war was won, Percy requested that all children of the Gods be claimed before the age of thirteen, which the Gods agreed to. Hades was even allowed back onto Olympus and forgiven by his family. The Lord of the Underworld now switches back and forth between the two realms. His immortal children still go about their godly duties and Nico still lives and now resides at Camp Half-Blood.

The Underworld, where the dead go when they die. Where the heroic receive a blessed life of eternity and purely evil-hearted spend eternity doing horrific punishments for their deeds on Earth. The Lord of the Underworld was currently in his bedchambers trying to think of a lovely anniversary gift to give to his beloved wife: Persephone. It had been thirteen years since they had been married and Hades was still in love with her. Yes, he still felt guilt over making his sister weep over the loss of her daughter and thereby making no food grow but he had been lonely back then. Back then, his desire to have Persephone had outweighed the consequences he knew were sure to come.
He had gone through a dozen ideas but none seemed to have matched the love he felt for Persephone. True he had gone after two nymphs during one of their drier patches of marriages but Persephone had quickly reminded him that she was his wife and not to be taken lightly. So, from that moment on Hades had become a dutiful husband. This was rather infuriating! The Lord of Underworld could handle dishing out punishments perfectly well but when it came to his own wife, he became like a little schoolboy, who was afraid to do anything to displease his new friend!
Letting out a frustrated sigh, Hades decided to tend to some of his subjects; ones who had become lax as of late. That should put him in a better frame of mind to continue thinking of anniversary gifts. So, getting up from his bed, the Lord of the Underworld walked out of the room. It wasn’t long before he sensed a familiar aura. He smiled, knowing who it was. He saw a servant, and gave them a rare Hades smile. He said for them to go as he knew who it was. To make it quicker for him and his special guest, he shadow-travelled into the throne room, and walked in front of them. He embraced her in a loving hug.
“Mother, so good to see you. How are things?”
