Overall:Annabeth loves architecture, and spends her free time designing new buildings and visiting national monuments. She find them fascinationg and so was thrilled when she was asked to redseign Olympus after the battle that nearly destory it. Her fatal flaw is hubris, otherwise known as pride: she thinks she can do anything and do it well, even better than the gods at times. This can in someways make her seem a bit big headed and a know it all. Annabeth can be very possessive of the people she loves. For example, she is very anxious of losing Percy to another girl like Rachel or Calypso. She does this because she doesn't want to see them hurt by other people or to have them taken away from her.
Annabeth can also be very harsh and judgmental during first meetings, but after winning her approval she is very loyal. She doesn't mean to seem hard hitting or even cold by doing this she just wants to make sure that she can trust them before letting them get close to her as she doesn't want to be betrayed by her friends as what happened with Luke. She is very strong perosn who can stand her own in battle and isn't afraid to voice her own opinions to even people she doesn't know or hasn't met before. She can also be equally stubborn at times believing that her way is best which is partly because of her hurbris. Annabeth's a genius intellectual, clever, and witty being a daughter of Athena as she will anaylsis most things before doign something rather than just diving in head first and hoping for the best.
HISTORY
Born: 12th January
Homeland:California
History: Annabeth's father, Frederick Chase, met Athena, goddess of wisdom and strategy while he was studying history at Harvard. Athena helped him get through his studies and consequently, they fell in love. Shortly after in 1994, as a gift to Frederick, Athena sent him Annabeth, who was considered a "brain child" like all other children of Athena. Annabeth appeared in a golden cradle carried down from Olympus by Zephyrus, the west wind. However, her father asked Athena to take Annabeth to Olympus and raise her there as he didn't see Annabeth as a gift the way Athena did. Athena refused and told him that heroes were supposed to be raised by their mortal parents and not their godly one.
When Annabeth was five, her father got married. He and his wife had two kids together, Matthew and Bobby. Because Annabeth was a demigod, her family was constantly being attacked by monsters, causing constant fighting between Annabeth and her parents, as they felt that she was always putting them in danger. Annabeth felt that her step-mom thought that she was a freak, so she ran away from home at age seven because she believed that she was not wanted at home. She then fought monsters with the guidance of her mother, Athena, for a few months, using only a mortal hammer. Annabeth was later found by Luke Castellan and Thalia Grace. When they found her, Annabeth hid behind a piece of metal, and then tried to attack them with her hammer, but Luke knocked it out of her hand. After being able to befriend her, Luke gave her a celestial bronze knife and said that only a clever girl could use knives like this one.
They traveled many places together until they were brought to camp by Grover, a satyr. She never wanted to go back home and considers Camp Half-Blood her home since she has lived there for most of her life, starting from seven years old. When Annabeth was 10 years old, she heard the Great Prophecy. She has had nightmares about it ever since. Every time a new camper came to Camp Half-Blood, Annabeth wondered if they were "the one", because Chiron told her that she would have a part to play in the Great Prophecy. Though she would have to wait until the arrival of Percy Jackson when she was tweleve to find this out. At first Annabeth doesn't know what to think of Percy as she doesn't know whether she can trust him or not and so was a little hostiale towards him until she could figure out her feelings for him. Whether they where good or bad.
Though when Percy desided to go of on this quest both she and grover go with him. Together, Annabeth, Percy, and Grover go in search of Zeus' Master Bolt because Zeus thinks that Percy stole it. While on a bus to New Jersey, the three furies come on board, and Annabeth uses her cap to hide Percy from them and hopes that Percy's smell will hide her and Grover's smells. When the bus crashes due to the fighting between the demigods and the furies, they arrive at Aunty Em's Gnome Emporium, and find that Medusa is turning people to stone. Annabeth is extremely worried because it was her mother that turned her into a monster because she was caught kissing Poseidon in one of her temples. Percy chops off Medusa's Head and they ship it off to Mount Olympus. After returning a lost dog for the reward money, they take a train and eventually arrive at the Gateway Arch, something Annabeth is very excited about as she states she wants to become an architect and tells Percy and Grover all the details of the arch.
When they go to leave, Grover and Annabeth go down the elevator and meet up with Percy after he is blown out of the arch by Echidna and the Chimera.
After getting on a train out of the city, they arrive at a diner only for Ares to appear before them and give them a ride west if they get something for him in Waterland. Percy and Annabeth are reluctant because the item is in the Thrill Ride O' Love and neither feel comfortable. Once they are inside, a trap made by Hephaestus is activated and hundreds of thousands of metal spiders flood the room making Annabeth so scared she is unable to move. Percy floods the room with water from the pipes and they sail toward the exit, but the gate is closed. Annabeth uses her smarts to figure out when the best time to jump was and they make it out safely. They eventually arrive at the Lotus Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas where they are given key cards and decide to have a nice place to sleep for the night. They start playing games and Annabeth gets really into a Sim City type game and can't bring herself to pull herself away, even after Percy tells her it is a trap. She doesn't budge until the word spider is said and she comes to her senses.
Once reaching the Underworld, they couldn't think of a way to get to Hades without passing Cerberus, until Annabeth pulled out a rubber ball and began to play fetch with him and claiming she used to train a Doberman. She played fetch long enough for Percy and Grover to pass by and then followed them telling Cerberus she would play with him again sometime and he whined as she left. After the Master Bolt was returned to Mount Olympus and all seemed well, Percy was poisoned by Luke, and Annabeth was deeply hurt by Luke's betrayal. Though while Percy left to go back home Annabeth stay at camp. Though Annabeth arrives at Percy's new school to tell him what has happened at camp, but is wearing her cap so no one notices her. While at camp, Annabeth and Percy decide to work together to make a chariot for the upcoming Chariot Race, but because of Annabeth's fear of Tyson, they have a fight and work on their own chariots.
They do make up after an attack by some Stymphalian Birds because Thaila's tree is dying and the borders are weakening. After a dream Percy has, Annabeth realizes that Grover found the Golden Fleece and ask Tantalus for a quest to get it, but he gives the quest to Clarisse. However, that night they sneak aboard a ship passing by the camp to search for the fleece themselves. The ship they arrive on is the Princess Andromeda. A monster ship with Luke on it and they are forced to escape. Annabeth leads them to an old hideout used by her, Luke, and Thalia. She also tells Percy after sending Tyson outside why she hates cyclopes, until Tyson comes back with a hydra nearby. After battling the hydra with little effect, Clarisse arrives and takes them with her to the Sea of Monsters. After entering the sea, Percy and Annabeth are split up from everyone else when Clarisse's submarine explodes and arrive at C.C.'s Spa and Resort. While Annabeth is given a full makeover, Percy is turned into a guinea pig. Annabeth outsmarts Circe and uses one of Hermes' multivitamins to turn Percy back and make them immune to magic for a short time. She then puts her knife to Circe's neck, and threatens her. They escape using Blackbeard's ship. Annabeth hears the Sirens' song while on the boat, and although she'd convinced Percy to tie her to the mast, he forgot to disarm her and she got hypnotized by the song. It is confirmed that her fatal flaw is hubris.
They eventually make it to Polyphemus' island where Grover and Clarisse are being held captive. In order to provide a distraction, she puts on her invisible Yankees cap and tells the cyclops she is "Nobody," angering him to no end as he smashes rocks and stops around, eventually capturing her. She is freed when Percy tells Polyphemus he is "Nobody," since Annabeth was a girl. He lets he go and Percy manages to defeat his half brother and take the fleece. They all eventually sail out of the Sea of Monsters and Annabeth and Percy give Clarisse enough money for a plain ticket back to camp. After she leaves, they are attacked by Luke for the fleece, but when he finds out they don't have it, Annabeth is forced to watch Luke and Percy fight each other. Percy manages to trick Luke into revealing he poisoned Thalia's tree. Chiron and the Party Ponies come to their rescue and they return to camp. Annabeth and Percy teamed up to win the chariot race waged between the cabins of the camp. Following their victory, Annabeth's perpetual facade of calm cracked slightly when she kissed Percy on the cheek. Afterward, while Annabeth is doing patrol for the camp, the fleece's magic works too well, causing Thalia's pine tree to 'give back' Thalia's spirit, causing Thalia to come back to life.
That winter, Annabeth, Percy, and Thalia enter a school looking for two demigods that Grover had been looking after. They are stopped in a hallway by Dr. Thorn and Ms. Gottschalk, but Thalia uses the mist to convince them they were students. He lets them pass and the three go to the dance looking for the demigods and Grover. Annabeth and Percy start dancing and Annabeth says she has something very important to tell him, but are interrupted when Nico and Bianca disappear. Annabeth goes to get Thalia and Grover while Percy rushes off to find the demigods only to be captured. When Annabeth and Thalia attack Dr. Thorn, the Hunters arrive to help fight it off. During the fight, Annabeth jumps on Dr. Thorn's back to stab him, but they both end up going over a cliff and vanish. Annabeth somehow found herself at mount Othrys where Luke was holing up the sky and pleading for her to help him so she took the weight herself. This inturn got Artemis to take the weight from Annabeth trapping the goddess there.
Eventually the group arrived at the ruins of the Titans' palace, Mount Othrys in San Francisco, California, and found Annabeth, with a grey streak in her hair as a result of holding the sky and Artemis, who was struggling under the weight of the sky; both captives of Luke and Atlas. Upon the re-imprisonment of the Titan General Atlas, the death of Zoë Nightshade, and the apparent death of Luke, Annabeth was saved by Percy and the others, along with her mortal father, Frederick Chase who attacked the monsters chasing the group using the celestial bronze bullets that he had made from things Annabeth had left behind when she ran away from home. Also, Annabeth's stepmother shows care for Annabeth in this book when she tells Percy that even though she knows that Annabeth is a demigod and can't live in San Francisco because of Mount Orthys, the Titan base camp, she still has a home with them and can come anytime she wants.
Annabeth is now 14 years old. She and Percy were supposed to go to the movies after his orientation day into his new school, Goode. However, their plans are interrupted when Percy blows up part of the school in a fight with some monsters, Kelli and Tammi, who were apparently empousai in the forms of cheerleaders. Her possessiveness for Percy is revealed when she becomes annoyed at him after she finds him escaping with the mortal girl Rachel Elizabeth Dare. She has a fight with Percy and refuses to speak to him for a while. Once back at camp, Percy and Annabeth accidentally discover an entrance to the Labyrinth under the rock pile known as Zeus's Fist while on a camp game. She realizes that Luke can use this entrance to invade the camp at any moment unexpected. Annabeth leads the quest into the Labyrinth, fulfilling one of her many ambitions at last. While studying the Labyrinth, Percy walks in on her. Annabeth was frustrated and held out her arms so Percy could give her a hug.
Later, Annabeth descends into the Labyrinth with Percy, Grover, and Tyson to find a way to stop Kronos's evil forces from invading the borders of Camp Half-Blood by searching for its inventor, Daedalus. The Oracle of Delphi gave her a prophecy which appears to have scared her and she refuses to say the last line. As they go into the Labyrinth, they face and fight many monsters. Annabeth faces a Sphinx and finds its riddles not challenging and an insult to her intellect. They escape the claws of the Sphinx and continue on to find Hephaestus in one of his many forges so he can tell them about where to find Daedalus and his workshop in the Labyrinth. Annabeth believes that Percy will die when Mount Saint Helens erupts but right before he goes in she kisses him for good luck. When Annabeth sees Percy return she hugs him fiercely, but quickly lets go when she realizes she is making a big scene in front of all the other campers. When she finds out what happened to Percy after he tells her and Chiron in Chiron's office in the Big House, Annabeth angrily exits after guessing where he was stranded and obviously feeling jealous.
Percy asks mortal Rachel Elizabeth Dare, much to Annabeth's dismay. Annabeth makes several offending remarks toward Rachel, who simply shrugs them off and after a long while, Annabeth accepts her as their guide. The three of them discover Luke, who has become Kronos's vessel. Annabeth joins forces with the campers and goes to New York City to save Manhattan and Mount Olympus itself from Kronos' Titan army in the Battle of Manhattan. At one point, she takes a poisoned knife for Percy, that Ethan Nakamura was using to try to stab him. Even though she does know Percy was invincible, Annabeth jumps in the way and takes the stab, defenseless. It is later revealed that if she hadn't taken the dagger for Percy, he would have died, because his only weak spot was where the dagger whould have hit. Percy gets Blackjack, his black pegasus, to fly her away, takes Kronos on, and is forced to retreat. When Percy checks on Annabeth, he decides to tell her where his Achilles heel is.
While Annabeth is resting because of the poisoned knife, she tells Percy that Luke had visited her before they went into the Labyrinth, explaining why Hermes, the messenger of the gods, the patron of thieves, and others, was mad at her for not saving Luke when she had the chance to, and she also states that Percy looks "cute" when he is worried. Annabeth saves Percy and Olympus by finally realizing for whom the prophecy is truly meant for: Luke. She tells Percy to give Luke her knife so he can stab himself, which would banish Kronos back to Tartarus. Annabeth is rewarded by the gods, now being able to fulfill her dream and design for the gods a new city on Olympus, as the old one was ruined by the battle. She is also allowed to design the new cabins at Camp Half-Blood. She and Percy celebrate his 16th birthday privately, in the apparently empty dining pavilion of Camp Half-Blood. Percy attempts to tell her that he has strong feelings for her, but she is amused, up until the point he states that she is not making it easy for him to admit it. She laughs and warns him that she will never, ever make things easy for him, and that he should get used to it, wraps her arms around his neck, and kisses him.
After Percy goes missing Annabeth starts searching for him and goes to the grand canyon to look for percy but instead find some demigods. Annabeth appears in a chariot pulled by pegasi with Butch to pick up the three demigods Jason Grace, Piper McLean and Leo Valdez. Annabeth had been receiving visions from Hera, the goddess of marriage, the Queen of Heaven and the sister-wife of Zeus, that a hero with one shoe, which she finds out is Jason, will solve her problems, which is finding Percy. Back at camp Annabeth gives Piper a tour of Camp Half-Blood, also letting Piper choose her weapon Katoptris, then explaining that Piper's relationship with Jason at The Wilderness School was an illusion due to the Mist and wanting to give Piper a chance to break down privately when she realized the same thing, though she has been holding herself together as well, it is obvious that Annabeth is equally crushed at losing Percy so mysteriously. When Jason is given his quest to rescue Hera from the capture of Polyphrion the giant, Annabeth refuses to accompany the quest group, partly because the prophecy states that children of Hephaestus, Jupiter/Zeus, and Aphrodite will go instead, and partly out of her own distaste for Hera. Instead, she uses the time they are gone to continue her search for Percy.
After the quest group returns and relates their findings, Annabeth puts everything together and realizes, as Jason has, that Percy has been taken to the Roman Camp called Camp Jupiter as the corresponding half of the exchange. She vows to accompany Jason, Piper, and Leo when they journey there to retrieve him. She keeps this promise and is now at Camp Jupiter where she had been reunited with Percy.

Tonight was the night. New Years Eve. Another year had gone and this was the last time Nerina would be able to welcome in the New Year at Hogwarts and so she was going to make sure that she enjoyed herself. Her dress wasn't anything fancy just nice and simple with a bit of elegance as she wasn't one for going all out at balls as she knew she wouldn't feel terribly comfortable frocked up to the high heavens in makeup and frills. And you weren’t going to be able to enjoy yourself at the ball if your wasn't comfortable with what you where wearing. You would be constantly checking things and worrying about things that wasn't even important and so Nerina didn't even bother with all that. She wore a bit of make up like eye shadow and foundation so she didn't look washed out or anything as it was easily done with her pale skin. But everything was tasteful as Nerina new anyone who wasn't dressed tastefully would be escorted about by one of the chaperoning professor's.
Brushing down her dress which was a simple black dress brought in at the waist Nerina tied the straps of her shoes upon her feat which were also simple and black like her dress. Nerina thought that the dress suited her as it wasn't flashy or sparkle to grab other attention as Nerina herself wasn't much of an attention seeker at all. It was a quiet and subtle dress which suited Nerina much better on the whole. Unlike some other students Nerina hadn't even bothered to even find a date as she wasn't bothered by all this fuss some people had about going stag to a ball. Nerina would probably just end up hanging around with some of her other friends how didn't have dates as she didn't want to pry upon those who did. She didn't really care if she was on her own when the New Year came upon them. Also long as she had a good time there she would be perfectly fine and happy to entertain herself as watching others could be entertainment in itself.
Grabbing her bag which held her wand and other sorts of things she may need for the night Nerina headed down into he common room where a few others were gathered either waiting for friends or dates she supposed. Not having really made any arrangements with anybody Nerina greet those who greeted her as she passed before heading out of the Ravenclaw common room. There were plenty of people on the staircase as Nerina made her own way down to the hall. Somewhere going up to collect or wait for their dates others were going down to the hall or maybe even collect their dates from Hufflepuff or Slytherin. Hogwarts was defiantly a lot busier now than it had been over Christmas with the majority of their student returning from Christmas break today. It brought a smile to Nerina's face to see the school filled again as though while it was nice when it was quite it did make Hogwarts feel a little strange than what Nerina was used to.
It wasn't long before Nerina was stood at the entrance to the great hall and was gazing upon the banners of purple and gold that now decorated the great hall the New Years festivities. It was truly marvellous and creative what they did with the effects on the ceiling. So walking in Nerina made her way over to the refreshment to get herself a drink as she knew it usually got spike at some point and wanted to sample it before such a thing happened.
